Lucidity

I was navigating a house in my dreams, but the layout didn't quite match my dream-memory of the place, causing me to be a bit critical. At some point I looked at the back of my hand and saw a peeling temporary tattoo, and picked at it a bit. I had a sense that I never put on temporary tattoos, and that this was therefore a dream. I tried to shift some elements in my dream, but found that simply thinking about them didn't work. Gesturing with a hand and narrating did, somehow. Then the dream scene abruptly ended. I thought to tell a friend on Facebook about lucid dreaming, and was directed to a link to an existing thread in response. Turned out that I'd only exited one layer of the dream an entered another.
