Time will tell if historians agree or not

The weather Saturday afternoon was nice enough, which only served to contrast how I felt at having to conclude that American fascism had fully matured into being with the para-genocidal (gender-cidal?) transphobic state policies of DeSantis along with Christian Nationalism and election denialism.

I consider Galtung's 2016 prediction (apparently set out in a 2009 book that I've not yet sourced) of a phase of reactionary fascism to have come to pass.
